Do you own a smartphone? It’s more and more likely these days that you do? As you already know, there isn’t much that you can’t do with the devices. They are a phone, mp3 player, gps, video camera and computer all rolled up into one. If you can envision doing something with your smartphone, there is probably already an app for that.

That’s why it should surprise you that the online casinos are making the transition to the different mobile platforms. Since the mobile casino software is in its infancy, there isn’t a very large selection of mobile casino games, yet. This is bound to change in the near future as most people will soon transition to playing these games with their mobile.

Because the United States doesn’t have clear laws surrounding online betting, most online casinos that offer mobile services will not be able to accept American players. I do have one exception that I will tell you about below.

Mobile Casino Games

When it comes to the games offered by these casinos, the mobile slots are the most popular. At least half of the mobile games that I have seen offered are some variation of slot game.

Here is a look at some of the mobile slot games that I have seen offered:

As you can see above, I have 4 examples of mobile casinos that offer slots. These 4 casinos all use different software from each other. Let’s start from left to right and tell you a little bit about these games.

mFortune – Here is the only mobile casino that does not also offer an online casino for the computer. mFortune caters to UK mobile casino players. They offer a total of 10 mobile games and 5 of these are slots games. In addition to these games, there is also Blackjack, European Roulette, Hi-Lo Poker, Sexy Poker and Greyhound Racing. mFortune also offers 5 bingo rooms with their mobile bingo called mmmBingo.

All Slots Casino – This casino uses Microgaming software. Many of the online casinos that use Microgaming are now offering the mobile casino games that Microgaming has created. There are currently 20 mobile games offered by Microgaming’s Spin 3 software. Of these, 11 of these are mobile slots. There is also mobile blackjack, 3 card poker, roulette, baccarat, Jacks or Better video poker, Bingo Bonanza, Scratch Card, Royal Derby, Keno and Scratch ‘n’ Score.

Bet365 Casino – Bet365 uses Playtech software; this is Microgaming’s main rival. Playtech is a little behind Microgaming as far as mobile gaming goes. While Microgaming casinos have come out with apps for the AppStore and Android Market, Playtech is relatively basic and requires you to go to the host casino’s website in order to download the games. Only a few Playtech casinos, like Bet365, have adopted the mobile casino games so far. There are a total of 16 mobile games that are offered. 9 of these 16 are mobile slots. The other games are European roulette, blackjack, baccarat, Jacks or better, keno, Pop Bingo and Rock-Paper-Scissors.

Slotland – This is your only choice if you live in the United States. Slotland currently has 6 mobile casino games. 4 of the 6 are slot games: Golden 8, Lucky Stars, Treasure Box and Booster. 2 of the 6 are Video Poker games: Jacks or Better and Striking 7s. Slotland also offers an online casino that you can play from your computer. The online casino offers more slots and video poker games, but there are no traditional casino games like blackjack or roulette.
